The Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town took a significant step towards addressing the pressing issue of mental health by organizing a Suicide Prevention Workshop on January 28, 2023. Over 65 Interactors gathered at the Universal College Lanka auditorium to gain valuable insights into suicide prevention and mental health care.

The workshop aimed to dispel the stigma surrounding mental health and empower participants to support those struggling with mental health challenges. Renowned psychologist Nivendra Uduman and Mr. Ranil Thilakaratne, COO of Lanka Life Line, provided expert guidance on identifying signs of distress, offering support, and encouraging individuals to seek professional help.
