It was a weekend filled with inspiration, connection, and celebration as members of the Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town actively participated in the Rotary District Conference 2024/25, held at Nelum Pokuna Theatre and Cinnamon Life Hotel.

The full-day conference brought together Rotarians from across the district for powerful sessions and meaningful dialogue. We were proud to be part of the agenda, with Past President Rtn. G.S. Sylvester moderating a dynamic session on Youth in Rotary, and a thought-provoking session delivered by PDG Rtn. Thariq Thulba

A major highlight was the recognition of our joint video production with the Rotary Club of Colombo Port City, which proudly won first place—a moment of joy and pride for both clubs!

Our signature district project, Healing Minds Matter, was also showcased as one of the most impactful initiatives, highlighting our commitment to mental health advocacy and community well-being.

The conference concluded on a high note with a colorful Mardi Gras-themed fiesta, capturing the true spirit of Rotary fellowship and celebration.
