From a small village in Polpithigama, Samanthika has spent over 20 years nurturing her love for plants as a hobby.

With the support of the Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town, now Samanthika is taking a meaningful step forward, transforming her passion for ornamental Anthurium cultivation into a home-based business.|

We supported her through funding for plants, fertilizer, and a protective shade net, an initiative that is more than just financial support, and more about enabling independence, dignity, and sustainable income for a visually impaired entrepreneur.
