Welcome New Members to the Midtown Family
August, recognized as Membership Development Month, marked the induction of five distinguished professionals into the RCCMT network (page 3):

Gearing Up for DGOV – Leadership & Strategy in Focus
At the General Meeting held on 13th August at MaRadha Colombo (page 4):

- Launch of new segment: “Rotary Digest”
- PDG Thariq Thulba shared insights on Rotary history, values, and global impact

From Planning to Purpose – Blind Walk 2025
Preparatory meeting held on 9th August (page 11)

Blind Walk continues as a signature initiative driving empathy and inclusivity.
Golden Jubilee Community Project – 50 Wheelchairs

Rotarian Expertise in Action

AI for English Teachers – Officially Launched

- 50+ educators participated
- 6-week online training program
- Covers AI tools, gamification, and smart lesson design
A forward-thinking initiative transforming education delivery.
Suwa Matha – Continuing Impact
The maternal health initiative continues its journey (page 14):
- Monthly nutrition packs (LKR 5,000)
- Supporting mothers through pregnancy & postpartum
- Expansion goal: 100 mothers across Sri Lanka
