The Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town organized a Leadership Development workshop for the incoming Board of Directors of the Interact Clubs of Hindu College, Zahira College, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya and Ilma International Girls School on 21st August 2022. The workshop was held at the Ilma International Auditorium and was attended by over 30 Interact Board members. The workshop was chaired by Rtn. Maas Savanghan and the technical sessions were conducted by Past President G.S.Sylvester and Past President Saif Ramzi. District Interact Representative Julian Fernandopulle and a few members of the district team were also present.

Interact is a club for youth ages 12-18 who want to connect with others in their community or school. Interact club members have fun while carrying out service projects and learning about the world. Interact clubs organize at least two service projects a year: one that benefits their community and one that encourages international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.
