In response to the severe flooding caused by Cyclone Ditwah, the Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town extended its support through a meaningful humanitarian initiative. The Club donated dry ration packs valued at over Rs. 300,000 to Manusath Derana, to be distributed across outstation relief centres assisting families facing immense hardship.
This contribution reflects Rotary’s ongoing commitment to community service, compassion, and timely action. At a time when many were displaced, struggling, and uncertain of what tomorrow might bring, this collective effort helped ensure that essential food supplies reached those who needed them most.
Through partnerships, empathy, and united service, the Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town remains dedicated to uplifting communities, offering hope, and standing beside Sri Lankans as they recover from the impact of Cyclone Ditwah.
